RepoOcto exists because we noticed a gap: developers spend hours in AI-generated code but rarely understand the codebase they're building on.

We're a small team of engineers who got tired of onboarding onto codebases by reading stale documentation and guessing at architecture decisions. We wanted a tool that would teach us our own code — not generic tutorials, but questions about our patterns, our abstractions, our tech stack.

RepoOcto uses AI to analyze your actual codebase and generate contextual quizzes. Combined with spaced repetition, XP rewards, and an idle-time trigger system, it turns dead time into deep understanding — without interrupting your flow.
