Overview

RepoOcto is built by developers, for developers. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

• •Account information: Email, username, and GitHub profile data when you sign up.
• •Quiz data: Your answers, scores, XP, and progression — stored to power spaced repetition and your dashboard.
• •Codebase context: A compressed representation of your code (via Repomix) is sent to your configured AI provider to generate questions. We do not store your source code.
• •Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregate product usage to improve RepoOcto. No code content is included.

Your code stays yours

Your source code is processed locally by Repomix within your VS Code environment. The compressed context is sent directly to your AI provider (e.g., Anthropic) using your own API key. RepoOcto servers never see, store, or have access to your raw source code.

How we use your data

• •Enable team features for enterprise customers
• •Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

Data storage

Account and quiz data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@repoocto.com. We respond within 48 hours.
